ALTERTRIP IPA Interreg Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020, Project Promotion on the Morning Show of the National TV MRT1
The Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities of Bitola, Demir Hisar and Resen – MOBILNOST Bitola, the 3rd project beneficiary in the project “Alternative Touristic Experience – ALTER TRIP”, promoted the project throughout the month of December 2022. Both the promotion of ICT tools for accessible tourism and the 35th anniversary of the association were one of the main topics on the morning show of the national television MRT1 on 22 December 2022. The President of MOBILNOST Bitola – Prim. Dr. Niko Jankov – spoke about the results achieved in the past three and a half decades, as well as the challenges that lie ahead, and the project manager Ivona Jankova explained how the ALER TRIP project will help in the transformation of the region into more accessible and inclusive tourist destination, and how the ICT tools will bring our cultural heritage closer to persons with disabilities. Bitola, the biggest city in the Pelagonia region, is now one step closer to being a more accessible tourist destination, and we hope that the results of the ALTER TRIP project will continue to motivate improvement of accessibility in tourist and other businesses in the area. ALTER TRIP is funded by the IPA INTERREG CBC Programme “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020”.
